Our Story.
During his time in these organisations, he often had to turn away SME’s looking for help in selling their business. This was because the success fee they charged was structured around the sale of companies worth 100M or more. The lower returns gained from the sale of smaller companies made it uneconomical to support them, yet these fees were way too high for the average SME.
Karan soon realised this disparity presented an opportunity and by leverage technology he could bridge the gap to provide SMEs with a unique set of tools, M&A expertise and support to help them sell their businesses in the most cost-effective way possible.
Driven by his insights, Karan approached the Ventures division of Standard Chartered Bank and presented his vision for a new SME focused M&A platform. SCV saw the potential in Karan’s idea and agreed to provide full backing for the launch of Dealcierge.
